9 Loves

My nine loves...in no particular order....

9. Reading...I love to read. I've been trying to get back into reading. I had recently fell into a bad funk, with nothing really grabbing me. Hopefully, my latest attempt will work. :)

8. Dogs and Birds - I currently have two dogs and used to own a bird. I have had dogs in my life since I can remember. I've had a bird for most of my life, two total.

7. Coffee...physically addicted to coffee. Well, ok, maybe it's the caffeine I'm addicted to, but I do enjoy the taste of coffee.

6. Rain...the smell of rain, the feel of rain, the thunder and lightning that accompany rain.

5. Tater Tots! Yes. I love tater tots...in fact....someone *cough* *cough* M *cough* owes me some tots! Just saying. LOL

4. Socks....I know, I know. Weird! But I'm always wearing socks. I sleep in them, wear them all the time except for when I shower. lol.

3. Family and friends. They sometimes drive me nuts, but I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Whether those friends are near (D&L) or far (M), I love them all for all different reasons. I hope they will forever be in my life. I truly can't imagine my life without them.

2. Going to concerts - Kinda goes with loving music, but I am separating these. Because while I love music, I love going to shows. The experience is on a whole other level. I almost get a physical high from going to shows. Being in the pit among all those people who get the same high, rock to the same thing or appreciate the music in the same way...nothing can describe it. With a great crowd, it propels the artists higher. They feed off it. It's the best thing to see and experience.

1. Music - I love music. It has kept me sane and alive. I can't describe how important music is in my life. It comforts me and calms me. It's there when people aren't there or can't be here. It reminds me of the great times I've had in my life. It has always been in my life. It has rarely failed me.

Secrets

10 Secrets....
ok, so these won't be deep secrets, per se.... more like fluff secrets.

1. I don't generally crave chocolate. Sweets, yeah, chocolate, no.
2. I get an emotional "high" going to concerts.
3. Cereal....I love me some cereal. Honey Bunches of Oat/Almond and Cinnamon Chex are my faves.
4. I wear socks all the time and have a pair of "inside the house" shoes.
5. Actually, yes, I actually like the taste of beer.
6. Love, love, love to read. (I'm kinda fighting my way out of funk right now, but I love reading.)
7. I do enjoy watching TV. I have my programs, but sometimes (more often than not) I will loose track of them or miss them thinking I'll catch up later. Nope. I fail to do this.
8. I love birds and dogs. Big dogs. I think I'll always have a dog in my life and do often miss having a bird.
9. Sometimes, I wish I was a decent cook.
