Citizen Cope at Marquee Theatre in Tempe 9/25/2012

Went to see Citizen Cope at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe.

Another great show by Citizen Cope. Played some great tunes, he sounded great, having the full band was awesome. the lighting was fantastic, too. really loved it!

the only thing i really didnt like were some of the other fan's chatter. seriously, some of them just kept talking through songs. i mean come on! if you wanted to talk, go out by the merch table, out on the outside patio, or towards the back of the venue. if you are up front, i would guess you are there to see and hear cope. not have a shouting convo with your equally drunk/buzzed assed bf/gf.

if i were in the back of the venue, i wouldn't complain, but i was towards the front. i wanted to hear cope, wanted to see cope. eh! lame.

other than that. i am glad i went, had lots of fun. took a few decent photos. :)

Crunch that Apple

So, Bro M, Banana and I were able to catch Fiona Apple this past wk.
I really enjoy her music....well, i really enjoy her first few albums. this last one is kinda weird. usually, i can kinda zone out and just let the music soak while i work. but this last album kept brining me out of my music trance. it was weird, abrupt. although i really like Hot Knife. really great song.

the merch was really lacking. i didnt like any of the shirts. loved the tour poster tho. bought one of those. :) visually, it was amazing. she was a little rough in the beginning, but i soon got into it as did she. very powerful singer. she played a lot of her older stuff, which is great that she doesn't shy away from what made her fans. i wished she played criminal, but i definitely liked what i got.

Foodcoma and other things

Brother's bday celebration happened this weekend. lots of noms, brew and bad habbits. :)

so, in about six months, i'm planning on hitting florida. I want to be uber fit for that trip. because, again, bad habbits, noms and brew will take place then.

so, i'm going to be very strict on what i'm eating. Going back to soups, sandwiches, fruits, etc. Going to be working out again. I've been slacking and I need to get back into the groove.

Also, i've been feeling very tired as of late. I know it's my horrible sleeping patterns but i know it has to do with my lack of iron. i've been slacking again and i think it is finally catching up with me.

so, new regime....
eat better
work out more
    work the core
    work the arms
    work the back
take meds on the reg.
